Even though he narrowly escaped punch cards, he has had to endure many “horrors” in the field of software development and therefore greatly appreciates achievements such as git, SCRUM, unit testing and the convenience of modern programming languages. Thanks to the diverse experience he has been able to gather over the last quarter of a century, he usually has an idea when things get really “crunchy”… or at least a friend who might have an idea.
