Gallus Ferd. Rüesch AG
It’s already a year since we have started our cooperation with Gallus Ferd. Rüesch AG, headquartered in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Gallus operates worldwide as a reliable partner for label- and folding carton printing. The Gallus portfolio includes presses, die-cutting units and accessories, screen printing plates and a wide range of services.
A central component of all Gallus presses is the UHMI (Unified Human Machine Interface), which enables the printer to operate the machine. PHIOS supports Gallus in the further development of the existing JAVA-HMI solution. Furthermore we collaborate with Gallus to develop the HMI of the future, using modern and platform independent web technologies. This year a PoC has been implemented to demonstrate feasibility and mitigate risks identified in advance.
In addition to development support, PHIOS also guides Gallus on topics such as agile development processes, release management and various other DevOps concerns.
We are looking forward to next challenges in our cooperation with Gallus.
S.I.E
At S.I.E we develop Embedded Software for medical and Industrial applications. To be able to do our job at the best, we decided to redesign our CI/CD infrastructure to better fit the requirements of such challenging businesses. By applying best practices and state of the art techniques, Phios AG helped us to maximize our probability of success. Phios AG was a reliable and transparent partner, and we are sure that there will be other opportunities to work together in the future.

Liebherr-EMtec GmbH
The digital service “MyLiebherr Maintenance & Performance for Earthmoving” allows Liebherr customers to always have an overview of the current performance data, KPIs, maintenance information, etc. of their machine fleet as well as their attachments. The solution is developed by PHIOS together with Liebherr-EMtec GmbH and important lead customers to support all customers and service partners in their daily work. PHIOS as a professional digitalization partner provides a competent team of software engineers, architects, scrum masters and UI/UX experts and enables to develop together with the customers an application that allows to optimize machine operations and to run them with highest reliability and efficiency.
In October 2022, the solution was presented at Bauma in Munich as a very successful collaboration between Liebherr-EMtec GmbH, the lead customers and PHIOS. The great interest and positive feedback from the trade audience will now be taken along, and in the course of a soft launch starting in May 2023, the solution will be finalized for the market launch in 2024.

Oerlikon Metco AG, Wohlen
At Oerlikon, a migration from SVN to GIT was on the agenda. For this purpose, we commissioned PHIOS AG to work with us for an analysis and migration of the various existing solutions. For this purpose, the status quo of the different active solutions was analyzed, and possible approaches were discussed.
With the support of PHIOS, we were able to merge the individual platforms on a project basis.
PHIOS always informed us transparently about the progress and all open questions could be discussed promptly.

INHAUS Handels GmbH
At Inhaus, we have developed and successfully introduced the digitalization of our
consulting process for bathroom solutions in cooperation with PHIOS AG. In the process, we have combined various software solutions into a user-friendly app for the consultant. Each consultant now has access at any time to plans, catalogs, images, and can create the tender and the plan directly during the consultation. This makes every consulting appointment more pleasant and significantly more efficient. The cooperation with the PHIOS team was very professional and collegial. Apprentice training is very important to us at Blum. This is why we operate an elaborate process to find suitable apprentices for our company.
For this reason, in 2020 we decided to replace an Excel file with lots of useful macros and functions, that had been created over the years by a future-proof, mobile-capable and browser-based Open UI5 application.
The implementation was done in sprints, parallel to the already running recruiting process. Agile and fast implementation was essential and we could fully rely on our partners from PHIOS.
The result is very well received and we are looking forward to further joint projects with the PHIOS team.

Bühler is developing its Insights platform with six geographically distributed scrum teams, one of which is a PHIOS AG team whose main responsibility is the development of the front-end application of the platform, and the micro-services for data access to Microsoft Azure Cloud services. PHIOS AG is also responsible for coaching and training the front-end developers in the other scrum teams around the globe. PHIOS AG brings its vast expertise in technologies such as Angular, .NET, and Microsoft Azure to this project.
